Captains For Clean Water

Captains4CleanWater is a grassroots 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is dedicated to restoring and protecting our water resources. It all started in 2016 when a couple of fishing guides, who had witnessed the devastating effects of Florida's poor water management practices on the estuaries they relied on, decided they had had enough. They believed that if more people were aware of the issues, they would have been resolved long ago.

Driven by the lack of political will and public awareness, Captains4CleanWater set out to make a difference. Through their efforts focused on awareness and education, they are working to advance science-based solutions. They empower individuals like you to speak up for water quality and hold elected officials accountable.

Their work has united various stakeholders, including the outdoor industry, environmental groups, businesses, and concerned citizens, all committed to the fight for clean water. Together, they have achieved significant progress, but there is still more to be done. The team at Captains4CleanWater is made up of passionate experts who share a deep connection to the water and a commitment to conservation.

Led by co-founder and Executive Director, Capt. Daniel Andrews, they tirelessly work to protect our valuable resources and preserve our way of life for future generations. Join the fight for clean water with Captains4CleanWater and help make a difference today
