Hans Fagertun is an independent senior biostatistician based in Norway, providing consulting and hands-on statistical support to biotech and pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and clinical study teams. With more than 25 years of experience across Phase I–IV clinical trials and epidemiological research, he supports projects from study planning through analysis and reporting. His services include protocol and Statistical Analysis Plan development, selection and implementation of statistical methods, and production and validation of tables, listings, and figures.

He conducts interim and final analyses for Clinical Study Reports and provides independent quality control of statistical outputs, datasets, and programming, including CDISC/ADaM work. Additional services include clinical writing, meta-analyses, literature reviews, and analysis of real-world evidence, registry, and post-market surveillance data. His methodological experience includes logistic regression, pattern recognition, LDA, LASSO, PCA, and Monte Carlo simulation.

Hans also advises on statistical software workflows using SAS and R and offers tailored training in clinical statistics. He works remotely or in hybrid arrangements, with fractional consulting or ad hoc project support
