CAP Vercors is a running and trail club based in Villard-de-Lans, bringing together runners across the Vercors plateau, including Autrans-Méaudre, Lans-en-Vercors and Corrençon-en-Vercors. Its community welcomes people of all abilities, from beginners and young athletes to experienced competitors, with a shared enthusiasm for mountain running, outdoor activity and conviviality.

The club offers coached, progressive training sessions four times a week, as well as longer weekend outings. Its accredited École de Trail® teaches people to run in mountain environments safely and enjoyably. Young members aged 6 to 17 can take part in nature-based athletics, orienteering, biathlon and holiday multisport camps. As a club recognized by the French Athletics Federation, CAP Vercors also supports preparation for trail, cross-country and mountain-running championships.

CAP Vercors organizes three signature events: the Ultra-Trail du Vercors, with summer distances of 84, 48 and 8 km; the 15 km Trail Hivernal du Vercors on snow; and T’es pas Cap ?, a 12 km nighttime race. Its activities combine competition, wellbeing and shared outdoor experiences.
