Car Design Prüfer is a Porsche specialist workshop based in Salach, Germany, focused on professional repairs, engine rebuilding, and transmission servicing for water-cooled Porsche models. Its services cover models including the 911, Boxster, and Cayman, with expertise across generations from the 996 through the 992. The team diagnoses engine problems using compression and oil-pressure tests, visual and endoscopic inspections, then provides repair assessments and partial or complete overhauls.
Engine revisions involve dismantling, cleaning, measuring, and checking components before rebuilding them to Porsche specifications. The company also manufactures optimized forged pistons in-house using CNC machinery. For manual and automatic transmissions, including PDK units, Car Design Prüfer offers diagnosis, component replacement, cleaning, adjustment, calibration, and road testing.
Additional services include exhaust upgrades, performance and chassis tuning, interior leather work, tire and wheel sales and fitting, tire storage, maintenance, inspections, and TÜV and emissions testing. The business also offers used and reconditioned Porsche engines, along with consultation and safety checks
