La Vagabonde

La Vagabonde is a travel company created by Nathalie and Arnaud, a couple from Sarthe, France, who share a passion for travel, nature and meaningful encounters. Drawing on their backgrounds in hospitality and food service, they organise small-group journeys in Iceland, offering a personal, welcoming way to explore the country. Their trips are designed for up to 12 travellers and include full board, trip organisation and the attentive guidance of Nathalie and Arnaud.

Travel takes place aboard a specially converted, high-end double-decker coach designed as a rolling guesthouse. It features individual sleeping berths with quality bedding, shared seating areas, games and an equipped kitchen. Guests can relax, share meals and enjoy the scenery while travelling together.

La Vagabonde offers Iceland itineraries in both summer and winter, including shorter stays of around seven nights and a longer 12-night summer tour. Routes introduce travellers to the country’s landscapes and points of interest, with opportunities to visit farms, museums and local places, and enjoy tastings.
