Welcome to La Ferme des Cara-Meuh! A family-owned business located in the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, we are a pedagogical farm, a caramel-making facility, and a cheese factory. Our farm has a rich history, dating back to 1929, and has been passed down through generations. We take pride in practicing ethical and organic farming since 2013, prioritizing animal welfare and environmental sustainability.
Since 2011, we have been transforming milk into our famous caramel, known as Cara-Meuh, using traditional artisanal methods that showcase the flavors of the Manche region. In our farm shop, you can find a variety of authentic products, including milk, raw cream, butter, and eggs, as well as our Cara-Meuh and other local products. If you're in the Mont-Saint-Michel area, don't miss the opportunity to visit our farm and experience our delicious treats firsthand.
Whether you choose a self-guided tour or a guided visit, you'll have the chance to learn about our farming practices and the history behind our tasty creations
