Carbon Bee

Carbon Bee develops precision agriculture technology designed to help farmers reduce chemical use, protect crops, and improve profitability. Its SmartStriker X system detects weeds, crops, and diseases up to three metres ahead of a sprayer boom, then creates real-time maps of detected vegetation, treatment, and application rates. Detection works in both Green-on-Brown settings, such as bare soil or stubble, and Green-on-Green conditions, where weeds grow among crops.

The system supports several targeted treatment approaches: spot spraying, dual-rate application, and dose modulation based on target biomass. Beyond chemical spraying, its detection capability can guide other weed-control methods, including mechanical tools and electric or hot-water treatments. Carbon Bee offers sensor, controller, and ISOBUS VT technology for retrofit installations and original equipment manufacturers, with compatibility across a range of agricultural sprayer brands. The company also works with equipment partners and dealers internationally. Its focus is on applying treatments where they are needed, helping growers reduce inputs, field passes, operating costs, and environmental impact while supporting crop health and yields.
