Its catalog is presented for in vitro and laboratory research only; products are not intended for human or veterinary use or consumption, and the company states that they have not been evaluated by the FDA. The brand emphasizes analytical-grade materials, batch documentation, third-party testing, and a stated purity level of 99% or higher.

Carbon Labs sells research reagents and offers research water as a promotional item with qualifying vial purchases. Its website advertises automatic volume offers, including free vials with selected order quantities, as well as free research water when buying two vials. The company also promotes free shipping on U.S. orders, shipping within the United States only, and dispatch within 24–48 business hours. Discounts and offers are described as applied automatically at checkout, with no code required. Access to the store is restricted to adults who confirm they are qualified researchers buying for laboratory research purposes.
