About Carbon Newbie Summit
The Carbon Newbie Summit is a unique platform that caters to professionals and individuals who are new to the field of climate science. The inaugural summit took place at NYC Climate Week 2023, with support from Climate Collective and venue sponsor IndieBio, along with hosting by Clever Carbon, Carbon Almanac, and Carbon Better.
Founded by Michelle Li, the summit aims to demystify climate science and empower newcomers to take meaningful action. Clever Carbon focuses on raising carbon literacy in a fun and engaging manner, while Carbon Almanac offers a comprehensive resource on climate knowledge. Carbon Better assists businesses in transitioning to a net-zero emissions future through measurement, reduction, reporting, and offsetting of greenhouse gas emissions.
