The Center for Agribusiness & Rural Development (CARD) is an Armenian foundation that was established in 2005. It builds upon the success and experience of previous U.S. government development projects in Armenia, including the Farm Extension Project (1993-1996) and the Marketing Assistance Project (1996-2005), which aided in the reconstruction of the Armenian agriculture sector after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Presently, CARD focuses on designing and implementing agricultural development programs that cater to the sector's essential requirements for sustainable growth.

CARD offers a wide range of services, such as promoting and applying advanced agricultural technologies, supporting agricultural processing to develop competitive food products for both domestic and export markets, improving food security and safety at various levels, enhancing animal genetics and health, and assisting in the establishment of government policies and regulations for the sector.

As a 'one-stop-shop' economic development organization, CARD comprises highly-trained experts who provide services to farmers, agribusinesses, food processors, exporters, and retailers throughout the country. Its projects aim to enhance the agribusiness community and improve rural livelihoods.
