About Cardboard Christmas
**Cardboard Christmas: A Festive Journey into Holiday Tradition**
Welcome to Cardboard Christmas, your gateway to the nostalgic charm of vintage Christmas decor! Rooted in a rich history, our brand celebrates the tradition of creating enchanting cardboard village displays that have graced homes since the late 1800s. Initially introduced as candy boxes shaped like quaint houses, these festive items evolved with the advent of electric lights, becoming beloved components of the “putz” villages cherished by German-American families.
At Cardboard Christmas, we are dedicated to preserving and promoting this delightful hobby. We provide a wealth of resources for collectors and enthusiasts, offering how-to articles, discussion forums, and a curated selection of downloadable materials for restoring and building your own putz houses. Our community is a hub for sharing ideas, tips, and joy, ensuring that the spirit of Christmas past is kept alive.
Join us in celebrating this cherished tradition, and discover the magic that Cardboard Christmas brings to your holiday season!
