Care Beyond the Boulevard

Care Beyond the Boulevard is a Kansas City organization providing compassionate healthcare to people experiencing homelessness and those who are uninsured. Its guiding approach is to make care accessible to everyone: services are free, all are welcome, and patients are cared for without questions asked. The organization operates several medical clinics each week, with clinic days, locations, and times shared so people can find a convenient place to receive care.

Its work extends beyond medical encounters to include case management, dental care, and physical therapy. Care Beyond the Boulevard also relies on volunteers, community partners, sponsors, and donors to support its services and expand its impact. The organization invites people to volunteer, donate, become partners, and follow its news and activities. Its 2024 impact snapshot reports 2,958 unique patients, 12,803 patient check-ins, 4,872 medical encounters, 2,344 case management sessions, 275 dental sessions, 167 physical therapy sessions, and 7,826 volunteer hours. Carehouse and its capital campaign are also featured among its initiatives.
