Carell Augustus Photography is a distinguished brand founded by Carell Augustus, a talented photographer with a rich background in the art. Originating from Columbia, South Carolina, Carell developed his passion for photography in his teens, capturing moments in makeshift studios and gaining inspiration from iconic MTV shows. After serving in the U.S. Army and honing his skills at the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, he carved out a successful career in Los Angeles.
Carell has had the privilege of assisting renowned photographers, including the likes of Mario Testino and Matthew Rolston, and has built an impressive portfolio that encompasses portraits, celebrity photography, editorial work, and magazine covers. Notably, he photographed Viola Davis’s wedding, highlighting his capability in high-profile events.
