Japan Nature Environment College (J-eco), operated by the Career Technica educational corporation, is a specialist school in Niigata dedicated to teaching environmental conservation and preparing students for careers connected with nature. Its programs include Nature Environment Conservation, Environmental Education, Environmental Agriculture, Nature Environment Research, and a correspondence-based Nature Environment program. Students can explore practical learning through fieldwork, training facilities, research, and activities related to wildlife, forests, wetlands, and habitat restoration.

The college supports students’ career development with employment guidance, public-service examination preparation, information about environmental occupations, and interviews with graduates. It also provides admissions guidance, financial support information, and tailored advice for prospective students, including working adults and university graduates. Open campus events, practical experience sessions, online consultations, digital brochures, and videos help applicants learn about courses and student life before enrolling. J-eco shares research and conservation initiatives, including species surveys, and collaborates with external organizations on projects such as bird-call data and a rice-field art design. Through education, research, and hands-on experience, the school focuses on developing environmental specialists.
