The City of Milwaukee is a 360' long, 1931 railroad car ferry that serviced Lake Michigan for over 50 years. She is a National Historic Landmark, and the last of her kind! The Acacia is a 180' long buoy tender built in 1944 for service on the great lakes, and is also the last of her design! We are located on US 31 in Manistee, Michigan.

About SS City Of Milwaukee
The S. S. City of Milwaukee is a historic carferry and Coast Guard cutter museum located in Manistee, Michigan.
It is the last remaining ship of its kind, designed in the 1920s and built by Manitowoc Shipbuilding. Offering a unique experience, the S. S.
City of Milwaukee is open for tours and also offers overnight stays in its bed and breakfast from May through early September. Additionally, it hosts the annual GhostShip Haunted House every Friday and Saturday in October at 7:30 pm. The ship is also available for venue rental, making it a great choice for special events.
Visitors can explore the ship's rich history and enjoy the gift shop. Adding to the maritime experience, the USCGC Acacia is a seagoing buoy tender that was decommissioned in 2006 and is now part of the S. S.
