CAR FOR HERO

HeroCar is a charitable vehicle-support program of the Ruslan Shostak Charitable Foundation, focused on helping Ukraine’s Armed Forces and other security and defense units. Its mission is to bring Ukraine closer to victory by supplying dependable wheeled transport for frontline needs. The program organizes vehicle purchases and delivery to Ukraine, arranges diagnostics and maintenance, transfers vehicles to military units, and provides spare parts for vehicles in service.

It sources vehicles according to military requirements, including pickups, vans, and other transport from Korea, Europe, and the United Kingdom. HeroCar reports that it has delivered more than 1,600 vehicles, with a separate project aimed at providing 1,000 vehicles to the Armed Forces. The organization raises funds through public campaigns for vehicles and equipment, and accepts applications from military units seeking support.

Vehicles are used for practical tasks such as transporting supplies and evacuating wounded people. As many are used vehicles prepared under wartime constraints, HeroCar prioritizes essential repairs and advises recipients that hidden defects or later breakdowns may occur
