To further enhance his expertise, Dr. Persaud underwent subspecialty training in Endourology at the Bradford Royal Infirmary and Colchester Hospital in the United Kingdom. His focus lies in treating kidney stones, and he has gained a reputation as an expert in the field.

Dr. Persaud is a fellow of the Caribbean College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is also an esteemed member of the International Society of Urology and the American Urological Association.

Additionally, he has published several research papers on kidney stones and prostate cancer, presenting his findings at prestigious conferences and winning numerous awards. As a full-time Lecturer in Urology at the University of the West Indies, Dr. Persaud is dedicated to educating both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
