Caring For Earth

Caring for Earth (CfE) is an Italian volunteer association dedicated to environmental care and ecology from a social perspective. It brings people together to protect nature while supporting those most vulnerable, through education, practical conservation and community activities. Its work includes environmental and ethical education focused on the common good and landscape preservation, with nature trekking in protected areas of Campania and Lazio. The association also promotes phytodepuration and wastewater reuse, using renewable energy to help safeguard water resources in Italy and partner countries in Africa, particularly Burundi and Guinea.

CfE develops opportunities for social holidays, enabling people with limited means to enjoy time in unspoiled natural settings. Its projects include Pineta – Belvedere sul Mare, a site in Montecorice within Cilento National Park that volunteers are preparing for nature appreciation and contemplation, and a planned residential educational center in Palombara Sabina, Lazio. Members can join volunteer initiatives, propose local sections and support activities through donations or Italy’s 5×1000 tax contribution.
