Caritas München

Caritas Kinderkrippe Andréestraße is a Caritas childcare centre in Munich’s Neuhausen district, offering a nurturing environment for children from nine months to three years. The centre cares for up to 24 children in two groups and supports families from the settling-in period through the transition to kindergarten. With patient, attentive guidance, familiar routines and consistent educators, it aims to help children feel secure while exploring, playing and developing independence.

Its programme includes creative activities such as singing, painting, crafts and music, alongside movement, outdoor play, nature exploration and learning through everyday experiences. The centre also promotes language development, health, hygiene, intercultural learning, inclusion and Christian values. Staff take children’s individual abilities and needs into account, and work in partnership with parents, offering support with parenting questions. The multiprofessional team includes educators, childcare workers and a centre manager, with ongoing training and reflection supporting its work. Families can enquire or arrange an individual appointment, and registration or pre-registration is available throughout the year through Munich’s Kita-Finder portal.
