Caritas VOŠ

CARITAS – Higher Vocational School of Social Work Olomouc is a Czech educational institution focused on preparing students to help people and communities facing social challenges. Based in Olomouc, the school offers two study programs: Social Work, addressing issues such as poverty, addiction, loneliness, debt, violence, neglect, and social or health-related exclusion; and Social and Humanitarian Work, focused on global challenges including extreme poverty, inequality, conflict, natural disasters, and other crises.

Students can choose daily or combined study, with learning that connects theory and practice. The school highlights practical experience in the Czech Republic and internationally, alongside personal development and a supportive atmosphere in a smaller community. Its educational offer also includes an educational centre and online courses, while projects and volunteering opportunities provide additional ways to engage with social and humanitarian work. CARITAS supports students through services including a library, accommodation, dining, scholarships, and career information. Through its teaching and practical opportunities, the school aims to equip future professionals to respond effectively to the needs of people who are vulnerable, ill, or affected by crisis.
