Carlsberg Bjælker, part of Randers Tegl A/S, specialises in prefabricated brick elements and bespoke solutions for ambitious architectural projects. With more than 40 years of experience, the company works with architects, engineers and contractors to turn complex concepts into buildable brick structures, supporting projects from early design and technical advice through production and construction.
Its offerings include prefabricated brick beams and other brick elements, with solutions for distinctive features such as suspended beams, intricate masonry patterns and three-dimensional brickwork. Carlsberg Bjælker combines design, engineering and manufacturing expertise, and works with bricks from a range of Danish and international suppliers. Its products retain at least 80 percent of the brick’s original volume and avoid concrete or steel cores. The company also uses a distinctive prestressing technique for its beams, which it says provides technical advantages over non-prestressed alternatives.
Alongside manufacturing, Carlsberg Bjælker provides design guidance, calculations, project coordination and construction support.
