About Carmel Church SD
Carmel Church San Diego, founded in 1998 by Pastors Jerry and Tami McKinney, is a vibrant community centered on the love of Jesus. Initially established as City Church, the leadership felt a divine calling to embody a welcoming space where individuals can feel loved, encouraged, and empowered to discover their God-given purpose. In 2023, the church embraced a new identity as Carmel, symbolizing a fresh chapter of growth for its members and the San Diego community.
Carmel Church offers a variety of services and programs designed to engage all ages, including Kids and Youth ministries, community events, and daily devotionals. The pastors prioritize fostering genuine relationships and a strong understanding of Christianity, emphasizing the importance of prayer and Bible teachings.
