Carnatica

Carnatica is a pioneering organization founded in 1998 by celebrated musicians Sowmya and Shashikiran, alongside wireless communications engineer Ramanathan Iyer. Their mission is dedicated to promoting and preserving the rich traditions of Carnatic music globally. Known for their innovative approach, Carnatica launched the world's first encyclopedic CD-ROM on Carnatic music, titled "Nadanubhava."

The Carnatica group encompasses various initiatives, including Srishti's Carnatica Pvt. Ltd., the Carnatica Archival Centre for Music & Dance, and the Carnatica Arts Center USA. They provide a diverse range of products and services, from music appreciation resources and handbooks on artistes and composers to immersive experiences in dance and folk music.

Under the guidance of esteemed advisors and consultants, including prominent musicians and scholars, Carnatica fosters a vibrant community for music lovers and practitioners. With offices in Chennai, India, and Aurora, Illinois, USA, Carnatica continues to make significant contributions to the global stage of classical arts.
