Carole Valy

Carole Valy is a saddler and harness maker based in Dijon, France, known for handcrafted leather equipment for equestrian activities. Her work has included items for sport riding, trail riding and driving, such as halters, bridles, reins and other horse tack. The workshop also offered the creation, manufacture and repair of leather goods, bringing practical craftsmanship to equipment used by riders and horse owners.

After establishing her small business and serving customers for four years, Carole’s professional path took a new direction. She joined a prestigious saddlery house to continue learning and developing her skills in the craft. This new role now occupies her full time, so she has considerably reduced—and is unable to continue—the independent workshop activity. She thanks customers for their trust and loyalty and remains available to answer questions, including helping direct them to other skilled artisans. Carole Valy’s story reflects a commitment to traditional French craftsmanship and the ongoing development of specialist leatherworking skills.
