CarolinaCon

CarolinaCon is an annual hacking conference that has been a staple in the tech community since its inception in 2005. Rooted in North Carolina, this event is organized by dedicated volunteers, many of whom are associated with the 49th Security Division, a university student hacking club. CarolinaCon serves as a vibrant platform for both local and global audiences to enhance their knowledge in technology, information security, and digital rights.

In recent years, the conference has adapted to a virtual format, featuring live and pre-recorded talks, as well as an engaging Capture the Flag (CTF) competition that invites participants worldwide. The community-driven spirit of CarolinaCon extends to its merchandising and fundraising efforts, with proceeds from T-shirt sales supporting the event's minimal admission fees. The conference emphasizes inclusivity and accessibility, maintaining a commitment to low costs and community engagement, while also welcoming donations to enhance the programming and experience for all attendees. Join CarolinaCon to connect, learn, and celebrate the world of hacking and security!
