Caroline's Cookery

Caroline’s Cookery is a vegetarian cooking school based in Pinner, Middlesex, serving children and families in North West London. Its hands-on classes help children aged eight and over develop confidence in the kitchen while learning to prepare tasty vegetarian recipes. Young cooks can take part in one-off sessions, school-holiday classes, or the annual Teens in the Kitchen life-skills course, which is suitable for the Skills section of the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. Parent-and-child classes are also offered for younger children, with dates announced as available.

Participants make food to take home and share, and the website also provides recipes and cooking inspiration, including dishes such as vegetable chilli with brown rice. Additional services include Duke of Edinburgh Skills mentoring and bespoke family cooking sessions. Caroline’s Cookery has also collaborated with The Outdoor Group on activities for teenage girls and is developing Club Wa, a holiday club combining cooking with crafts, outdoor games, and other activities focused on young people’s happiness and wellbeing.
