Caroline’s Speech Retreat

Caroline’s Speech Retreat is a pediatric therapy practice in Tallahassee, Florida, led by Caroline Tindale and staffed by licensed speech therapists. The team provides personalized, evidence-based support to help children communicate, read, and write with greater confidence, while keeping families informed and involved throughout care.

Services include speech therapy for speech delays, articulation and phonological disorders, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech, including DTTC. The practice also offers early intervention for late talkers and children with communication or developmental delays, focusing on early communication, first words, and strategies families can use at home. Dyslexia therapy supports reading fluency, comprehension, spelling, and writing through evidence-based methods.

Sessions are available at the practice’s Tallahassee office, select preschools, and online. The process begins with a conversation about a child’s needs, followed by intake paperwork, an evaluation, and an individualized therapy plan with weekly sessions. Caroline’s Speech Retreat is an approved provider for the Step Up for Students Family Empowerment Scholarship and offers free and paid events, including parent workshops.
