Greater Thumb Football Club

Greater Thumb Football Club (GTFC), formerly known as Caro Soccer Club, is a community soccer organization based in Caro, Michigan. The club is transitioning to a more inclusive name to reflect its growing participation from families and players across the Thumb region. GTFC supports local soccer through seasonal registration, game schedules, field reservations, and access to information about locations and upcoming events. Its website also provides resources, volunteer opportunities, and answers to frequently asked questions, helping participants and families stay connected with club activities.

The organization is managed by a volunteer board whose responsibilities include scheduling, referee coordination, coaching coordination, and field and equipment management. GTFC welcomes community support and seeks sponsors to help fund its work and improvements to the soccer complex. The club acknowledges the contributions of its previous sponsors and invites interested individuals and businesses to get in touch about sponsorship opportunities. Families can follow the club’s updates on Facebook, sign up for text alerts, or contact GTFC directly with questions.
