Carousel of Hope Miniature Therapy Horses is an equine-assisted therapy and activities organization founded by Dr. Nicole Stilson, DVM, in May 2022. Based in Linden, Michigan, it brings miniature horses and people together through safe, positive, and joyful interactions intended to support physical, emotional, and mental well-being. The organization serves children and adults of all ages and abilities, offering programs at its farm, The Raven’s Nest, as well as mobile visits to local communities.

Its therapy horses visit senior living facilities, rehabilitation and memory care centers, veterans’ centers, grief therapy groups, hospitals, schools, and private homes. Carousel of Hope also participates in community events and organizations. At the farm, individuals and very small groups can arrange hourly visits to meet the miniature horses, learn basic grooming and handling, or take a walk with them. These experiences encourage connection, confidence, communication, mindfulness, and social interaction, while helping reduce anxiety and feelings of isolation. Carousel of Hope’s horses are certified through the Seven Oaks Farm Therapy Horse Program.
