Galerie CarpArten is a contemporary art gallery in Tarp, Schleswig-Holstein, near the Danish border and conveniently located along the A7 route to Scandinavia. Opened in October 2024, it brings together regional and established international artists, presenting a changing programme of contemporary painting, sculpture and other artworks. The gallery welcomes visitors seeking an engaging encounter with art and culture in northern Germany, about 20 minutes from Flensburg and Schleswig.

All artworks on display are available for purchase. The gallery offers personal advice to buyers, including support with choosing individual pieces, building an art collection and selecting art for homes, businesses or hotels. Collectors, travellers and small groups can arrange private guided visits by appointment, including outside regular opening hours.

CarpArten also hosts cultural events such as readings, concerts, theatre performances and talks, making it a meeting place for the local community and visitors. Deaf and hard-of-hearing guests can request a sign-language interpreter free of charge in advance.
