Founded in 1969 by Dom Conicelli, Carriage Trade originally started as a small used car lot contracted by banks to store repossessed vehicles. Recognizing the opportunity, Dom introduced the concept of auctioning these vehicles to both dealers and the public, maximizing profit for the banks.
Since its humble beginnings, Carriage Trade has grown exponentially, now offering over 500 vehicles weekly. Their auctions, held every Monday, showcase a wide range of vehicles, including inoperative ones, starting at 2:30pm. Located conveniently just outside Philadelphia, Carriage Trade is easily accessible from the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Route 476.
