CARSA is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting communities in Rwanda on their journey towards healing, forgiveness, reconciliation, and sustainable development. Since its establishment in 2002, CARSA has been transforming lives by conducting trauma healing and reconciliation workshops, peace education programs, and trainings in children's ministry and community empowerment. CARSA works closely with genocide survivors and their direct offenders, guiding them through the process of forgiveness, reconciliation, and holistic development.

Through their trauma healing and reconciliation program, CARSA helps individuals find healing from the trauma of the genocide through forgiveness and reconciliation. They also focus on community empowerment, aiming to foster unity, trust, and self-development within the communities they work with. Additionally, CARSA runs a youth empowerment program to create agents of peace among high school students, equipping them with conflict resolution skills and promoting positive peace.

To showcase examples of reconciliation, CARSA is building the UBWUNGO Peace and Reconciliation Center, which will serve as a place for Rwandans to share their positive stories.
