Cartier Philanthropy for People and Nature
@cartierphilanthropy.org
Cartier Philanthropy for People and Nature is Cartier’s philanthropic foundation. Our vision is a world where people and nature can thrive. When people can rely on the Earth’s vital natural resources, along with access to effective healthcare, quality education and sustainable livelihoods, they are empowered to realise their potential and thrive. They are then better equipped to nurture and conserve nature’s rich ecosystems which underpin the health of the planet that sustains us all. Our mission is to create the conditions for vulnerable communities and ecosystems to thrive. We do this by funding non-profit organisations that share our values and have a positive impact for vulnerable communities and ecosystems, partnering with them to achieve our shared ambitions. Cartier Philanthropy for People and Nature is based in Geneva, Switzerland. It is governed by Swiss law and operates under the supervision of the Federal Supervisory Board for Foundations of the Swiss Federal Department of Home Affairs in Bern. It is funded by Cartier but operates in full independence of its commercial interests.
