Casa do Corujinha

Instituto Cultural Casa do Corujinha is a community-based civil society organization founded in 2014 by Dr. Georgia Gonçalves in São Paulo, Brazil. It supports children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities, and works to strengthen their families through inclusive, scientifically informed care. Guided by dignity, empathy, and social inclusion, the organization combines intervention with practical support for families and the wider community.

Its activities include monthly interventions, the Corujinha Azul social project, and APOIA, which provides schools with guidance and information about autism through collaboration with educators. Casa do Corujinha also offers talks and courses to promote inclusion and development in school, workplace, and community settings. Its GPT (Ginástica Para Todos) project brings together physical activity and science, while community events encourage participation, solidarity, and access to services. The organization further supports families through volunteer opportunities, sponsorship, donations, and initiatives such as distributing food and clothing. Through these programs, Casa do Corujinha aims to foster understanding of autism and help create more inclusive environments for children and families.
