Fondazione Casa dell’Immacolata di don Emilio de Roja ETS is a social-care foundation based in Udine, Italy. Established in 1952, it has adapted its support over time to changing social needs, guided by the principles of respect, responsibility, honesty, sharing and work associated with its founder, Don Emilio de Roja. Today, the foundation provides accommodation and assistance for unaccompanied minors, adults undergoing treatment for alcohol dependence, and adults facing urgent situations.
Its work builds on a long history of supporting people experiencing hardship, including orphans, young people in difficulty, people serving alternatives to prison, unemployed people and migrants. The organisation’s campus includes residential facilities, a medical office, a kitchen and dining hall, classrooms, a library and shared spaces. It also offers rooms for adults in treatment and transitional accommodation for people preparing to move into the community.
Through its sections for minors and adults, training activities and Banco Lib(e)ro initiative, Casa dell’Immacolata works to support residents’ development, inclusion and everyday wellbeing
