CasaInsieme Onlus is a volunteer-founded organization established in 1999 to provide care and support for people with advanced illnesses and those affected by Alzheimer’s disease, as well as for their families. Based in Salerano Canavese, the association has managed the Hospice and Palliative Care Centre at Villa Sclopis in partnership with ASL TO4 since 2007. Its hospice offers temporary or longer-term care when home support is not feasible, with attention to pain relief and patients’ physical and psychological needs.
The organization also operates a daytime centre for people with Alzheimer’s and related dementias, providing tailored activities and support for families. Through its Fragile Families Protection Project, it helps families facing cancer-related challenges, with requests assessed by an ASL TO4 team including a social worker and psychologist. CasaInsieme’s work is supported by volunteers, local partners and donations.
Its Giardino Insieme project makes Villa Sclopis’s park accessible to patients, families and the wider community. The association also hosts fundraising events and welcomes volunteers and contributions
