Founded in 2017, Casa 1 is a vibrant civil society initiative dedicated to the LGBTQIAPN+ community. Serving as a welcoming republic, cultural center, and social clinic, Casa 1 offers a comprehensive range of products and services designed to uplift and support LGBTQIAPN+ individuals. The organization provides safe housing for homeless LGBT+ youth, having already sheltered around 380 young people who faced family rejection.

In addition to its housing services, Casa 1 boasts a free mental health clinic that offers ongoing psychotherapy and psychiatric care. The cultural center, known as Galpão Casa 1, hosts numerous socio-educational activities, workshops, and creative projects that blend advocacy with artistic expression. Programs range from ballroom expression workshops to arts and crafts classes, catering to diverse interests while fostering community engagement.

Through donations and partnerships, Casa 1 continuously seeks to expand its impact, inviting community members to participate in volunteering, attending workshops, and contributing to its mission of inclusivity and support for marginalized populations.
