Casa Vegana de la Comunidad | San Juan is a non-profit organization based in Puerto Rico. Our mission is to provide accessible education on veganism. We promote veganism as a lifestyle that respects animals, the environment, and offers health benefits to humans.

At Casa Vegana de la Comunidad, we believe that education is key to promoting veganism. We make our educational resources accessible to inform and raise awareness in our community about the benefits of veganism. Through virtual and in-person activities and events, we provide science-backed information.

We are committed to empowering others at Casa Vegana by providing the support they need to make healthy, sustainable, and informed choices. We address the needs of the vegan community and those who would benefit from veganism. For example, our vegan lunch project is a collaboration with a local non-profit organization that serves a marginalized community of elderly people in Río Piedras.

Casa Vegana also organizes and develops content for campaigns and initiatives that promote social change, seeking to increase compassion for animals and reduce the negative impact of animal exploitation on the environment and communities. We engage in activism with other social justice groups addressing oppression and inequality. To support our cause, Casa Vegana has launched official merchandise made from eco-friendly and animal-free materials.
