Cascade Lactation

Cascade Lactation LLC is a Central Oregon lactation consulting practice led by Kathryn, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and mother of two. She provides compassionate, individualized support to help parents meet their infant-feeding goals and feel informed and confident throughout their feeding journey. Services include one-hour prenatal visits in the home, postpartum initial visits, and tailored follow-up appointments.

Visits are offered in homes in Sunriver, Bend, and Redmond, as well as in an office setting. Kathryn supports breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, and formula feeding without judgment, and helps families navigate challenges such as latch and milk-supply concerns, infant weight gain, and feeding function, including questions about tongue ties. Her approach is holistic and practical: she recognizes that not every tie requires release and supports families as they consider their options.
