Cascades East Transit (CET) provides public transportation across Central Oregon and is operated by the Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council (COIC). Its services connect communities including Bend, Redmond, Madras, Prineville, Sisters, La Pine, and Warm Springs, with regional routes reaching destinations such as Portland, Eugene, Klamath Falls, and John Day.
CET offers local fixed-route buses, community connectors, flex routes, and vanpool options. In Bend, routes serve neighborhoods and key corridors, while regional services link nearby towns. Specialized transportation includes Bend Dial-A-Ride and demand-response service for eligible adults aged 60 and older and people with disabilities. CET also provides RIDE assist information for passengers unable to use fixed routes because of a disability, as well as non-emergency medical transportation through OHP Medicaid demand-response services.
Seasonal options include recreation shuttles for river access, Mount Bachelor in winter, and trails in summer. Riders can plan trips, check service alerts and real-time departures through the Passio GO! app, and find information about fares, passes, and customer support on CET’s website.
