About CasInvent Pharma
Casinvent is a brand that specializes in the development of highly potent and selective inhibitors of CK1 kinases for the treatment of various malignancies, including leukaemias, lymphomas, and solid tumors. Established in 2020 as a spin-off of Masaryk University, Casinvent works in collaboration with investment partner i&i Prague. Their mission is to provide new therapeutic options for the treatment of selected malignancies.
The technology used by Casinvent is based on proprietary highly selective inhibitors that target enzymes belonging to the Casein Kinase 1 (CK1) family. These inhibitors have been discovered by the research groups of professors Vítězslav Bryja and Kamil Paruch, who have extensive expertise in CK1 biology and chemistry of kinase inhibitors, respectively. Casinvent Pharma closely collaborates with these research teams in the advanced preclinical development of selected substances.
Their candidate compound is planned to enter clinical trials focusing on the treatment of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) and Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Led by an experienced team, including CEO/CSO Alexander Scheer and CFO/COO Vojtěch Helikar, Casinvent is committed to bringing innovative solutions to the field of oncology
