CASTIIS, the Social Assistance Centre for the Elderly and Children of Sanguêdo, is a nonprofit Private Institution of Social Solidarity based in Sanguêdo, in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, Aveiro district, Portugal. Active since 1987, it supports the needs of its local community through services for children, young people, older adults and families. Its early-years provision includes childcare and preschool, while Colégio Santa Eulália offers education for the first and second cycles.

For children and young people who need additional support, CASTIIS also operates a residential care home. Services for older people include a residential home for those aged over 65, a day centre and home support, with care delivered in people’s own homes. The organisation’s community services include social support and initiatives to address poverty and social exclusion.
