Castillo Animal Vegan Vet

Castillo Animal Vegan Vet and Surgery is a mobile veterinary practice serving the San Fernando Valley and North Los Angeles. Led by Dr. Daniela Castillo, the practice brings compassionate, personalized care to pets at home, aiming to make veterinary visits more comfortable for animals and their people. It treats dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals, and also provides some surgical services for farm animals.

House-call appointments include physical and illness exams, core vaccinations, preventive care, microchip implantation, laboratory diagnostics, telemedicine consultations, and prescriptions. Mobile surgical services include spay and neuter procedures, dental cleanings with extractions, growth removals, selected eye surgeries, hernia repairs, and limited amputations. Walk-in surgical care for dogs and cats is also available at designated locations. The practice emphasizes careful anesthesia and pain management, and offers in-home euthanasia and quality-of-life exams.

Castillo Animal’s broader mission includes supporting wildlife rehabilitation in Oaxaca, funding sterilization campaigns, and promoting veganism in veterinary care. Appointments are booked online, and travel fees vary by service area. Emergency services are not available.
