Castle Canine Care is a family-run, home-based dog day care service in Slingsby, North Yorkshire. It welcomes dogs from the surrounding areas, including Malton, Pickering, Norton and Kirbymoorside, providing a caring place for pets while their owners are at work or away for the day. The team aims to treat every dog like a member of the family.

Dogs have access to the home’s downstairs rooms and garden, with separate quiet spaces available for older dogs or those who prefer not to play with others. A secure paddock offers room to run and play, with agility equipment, toys, tunnels and a paddling pool in summer. The rural setting also provides access to miles of walking routes, and 24-hour CCTV helps support safety around the property.

Castle Canine Care is operated by Christine and Samantha, with occasional help from family members. The team brings extensive experience with dogs; Samantha is canine first aid trained, DBS checked, and holds qualifications in animal management and veterinary nursing.
