CAST Ministries, or Christian Anglers Serving Together, is a Christian bass fishing ministry that brings anglers together for fellowship, faith, and competition. Its mission is to spread the Word of Jesus Christ through fishing, while encouraging members to seek the Lord’s will and give Him credit for the ministry’s successes. CAST hosts bass fishing tournaments and provides opportunities for devotion, prayer, and community among participants.
Its distinctive format requires only one person on each boat to be a club member, making it easier to invite anglers who may not know Christ and use the tournaments as an outreach. The ministry also organizes Kids Derby Day, where children have the opportunity to fish alongside a group of anglers. Its website shares tournament schedules and results, member rosters, Angler of the Year points, event announcements, and a gallery.
