Cat World is a renowned brand founded by Julia Wilson, a passionate cat lover and expert. With roots in England, Julia moved to Australia and currently resides in Sydney with her husband, two children, two dogs, and four cats. She has always had a keen fascination with science, particularly medicine, and dreamed of becoming a veterinarian as a child.

Though her career path changed, her dedication to feline health and welfare never wavered. As an experienced cat author for over 25 years, Julia founded Cat-World in 2002 to provide cat enthusiasts with accurate and easily accessible information. The content on Cat-World is a result of Julia's extensive experience as a cat writer, referencing veterinary books, specialists, publications, universities, and research papers.

To ensure accuracy, Julia has partnered with Dr. Sam Kovac, BVSc (Merit) of Southern Cross Veterinary Clinic, who reviews the content. With a range of over 1,000 articles, Cat World covers various cat topics, including cat health, welfare, behavior, and more.

Julia's expertise and commitment to citing sources provide readers with reliable and verifiable information. In her free time, she enjoys photography, gardening, and exploring nature with her stumpy tail cattle dog, Hobo. For all cat lovers seeking valuable insights, guidance, and trustworthy information, Cat World is the go-to brand
