CATADA (Center for Assistive Technology Act Data Assistance) is a national information and technical-assistance hub supporting State and Territory Assistive Technology (AT) Programs. A collaborative project of the ICI at UMass Boston and the Illinois Assistive Technology Program, CATADA is supported through an Administration for Community Living contract and works to improve access to assistive technology for people with disabilities and older adults.
The site brings together program data, best practices, consumer stories, and practical resources. Visitors can explore charts, summary tables, raw and aggregate Annual Progress Report data, State Plan information, training videos, publications, reporting forms, and examples of innovative initiatives. CATADA also explains services offered through state AT programs, including public awareness and training, personalized information and assistance, device demonstrations, short-term device loans, reuse options, and financing pathways. These services help people compare, try, obtain, and afford technology suited to their needs.
CATADA serves state programs, policymakers, grant administrators, advocates, researchers, people with disabilities, and families.
