Catalyst CFO Advisors

Catalyst CFO Advisors provides embedded part-time and interim CFO and COO leadership for owner-operated and sponsor-backed companies, typically with $5 million to $75 million in revenue. Serving businesses across New Jersey, New York City, Philadelphia, Connecticut, and New York, the firm also works with clients nationally. Its approach places senior executives directly within a company’s finance and operating functions, combining strategic leadership with hands-on execution rather than offering advice alone.

Services include financial planning and analysis, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, KPI and board reporting, profitability analysis, fundraising and investor readiness, finance systems, revenue-cycle optimization, and controller oversight. Catalyst also supports operating reviews, accountability, and cross-functional execution through its COO offering. Its AI-enabled, human-led bookkeeping combines automation with accountant review, aiming to streamline transaction processing and month-end close.

The firm serves founder-led lower middle-market businesses, sponsor-backed portfolios, professional services firms, established small and midsize businesses, and profitable software companies. Catalyst reports more than 25 years of institutional finance leadership and experience across capital markets, asset management, and executive roles.
