Catches

CATCHES is a global fishing social platform that helps anglers plan trips, record catches, learn about fish, and connect with fellow fishing enthusiasts. Its app combines practical fishing tools with a community for users in more than 100 countries, where anglers can share articles, photo albums, videos, and techniques, and find nearby fishing friends.

The platform lets users document catches with details such as fishing method, bait, length, weather, and location, then review catch data and analysis. Its smart camera can identify fish and, when used with a CATCHES measurement tag, estimate length from multi-angle photos with a stated error of ±1% within an effective range of three metres. Fishing resources include fish encyclopedias, selected articles, and information on more than 200,000 freshwater locations and over 100,000 islands. Users can also explore global tide predictions, weather and sea forecasts, and fishing predictions based on catch records and weather data. Location search, nearby updates, and offline tide lookup support trip planning, including in remote areas.
