Cathcart Castle GC

Cathcart Castle Golf Club is a welcoming golf club on Mearns Road in Clarkston, on the south side of Glasgow. Established in 1895, it is one of the area’s oldest clubs and offers a classic parkland course designed by James Braid, with facilities for year-round play. Golfers can explore the course, check the scorecard and book tee times, while the 10th hole provides a convenient finishing point beside the clubhouse for those unable to play a full round.

The club welcomes individual visitors, societies and corporate groups, with weekday tee-time availability for visiting parties and special offers for larger groups. Its professional shop and Golf Performance Studio support golfers, and the club also hosts open events for men, seniors, women and mixed teams. Membership options include full, age-specific, junior and social memberships.

After a round, guests can enjoy drinks, snacks and a seasonal menu in the clubhouse lounge. The venue also offers a private dining room and clubhouse hire for functions, with catering arrangements available for events.
